India. The first Artemis Health Institute, located
in Gurgaon in the National Capital Region, is operational
since July 2007. Gurgaon was selected as home to
the first Institute due to its emerging status
as a dynamic international corporate city housing
some of the leading multinational corporations
in India. It offers modern and constantly improving
infrastructure, close proximity to New Delhi and

faculty will be established in Haryana in North
India. The institute will focus on medical, nursing
and paramedical education and allied health training.
This “medical university” will focus

institute able to perform cutting edge research
in medicine, biotechnology and genomics and proteonomics
will be established in Gurgaon. The R&D institute
will have the capability to carry out advanced in-vivo

environment fostering a close relationship with
the clinical faculty allowing rapid translation
of innovative ideas to the bedside. |
